Please see Ms. Benya in M225 for fundraiser packets or questions!

Attention Gophers! It’s time for a FALL FOIL FRENZY!

Starting tomorrow, as a school we will be working to raise money to support our very own food pantry.

What’s this have to do with foil?

Well, to make it more fun, each class will be competing to see who can build the largest foil ball. You can purchase sheets of aluminum foil from your class sponsor for only 25 cents each. Your sheet will be added to the class ball and next week they will be judged.

On Saturday November 12th, we will have a walk-a-thon event at the stadium. Here’s how it works: you get as many family, friends, or neighbors to donate money based on how many laps you will walk. Collect the money and then come out to walk. There will be music, prizes and a special brunch treat for all participants. See your class sponsor for a pledge form or more information.

Sponsors are:

Seniors: Ms. Brobst

Juniors: Ms. Addison

Sophomores: Ms. Beasley

Freshman: Ms. Benya

C’mon Gophers! Let’s make this the most awesome school event EVER!

Congratulations to the following students for being selected to participate in the 2016 All County High School Orchestra:

Attention Seniors-

UMES will be here on November 9th for On the Spot Admissions. Please be sure to sign up on Naviance, bring an official school transcript, SAT or ACT scores, and pages 3-4 of the new UMES application (found on Naviance) with you to the interview. You will not be able to interview if you do not have those items.

There will be a Mandatory Unified Bowling meeting TODAY at 2:20 in room B209-A. If you can’t make it, stop by and see Coach Voll to get your calendars

Our first practice is on November 15th.

The FALL blood drive starts today. Both today and tomorrow, the Anne Arundel Medical Center Blood Mobile will be in the courtyard to take your donation. AAMC keeps your blood donation inside of Anne Arundel County to save the lives of our community members.

If you would like to sign up to save a life, please make sure to see one of the Blood Drive team leaders. They will have permission slips for donating. If you cannot find a blood drive team leader, Mr. Woods has permission slips in a folder outside of his room, M215. GBHS has a great tradition of donating blood and we want to keep that going!

Teachers, email Coach Woods and reserve a spot!
