Every Student who has perfect attendance for the month of September will be treated to a “cool” treat at lunches the first week in October!!

Yearbooks are on sale. To purchase your yearbook please go to jostensyearbooks.com. Yearbooks are available for $75 but the price will go up if you don’t get your book before October 6th so be sure to buy yours today! Payment plans are available.

 

From SGA: (9/11-10/2)

Hey Gopher Nation! Homecoming is right around the corner! The homecoming dance will be held on Saturday October 14th from 7:00 to 10pm at a cost of $25.00 a person or $40.00 per couple or pair.

Tickets will be on sale from Monday October 2nd through Friday October 6th or until tickets are sold out.  Monday October 2nd will be for seniors only and the rest of the week will be for all students. Students, you must have textbooks and media obligations cleared before purchasing tickets for homecoming.  These lists can be checked in the cafeteria during lunches this week.  You will be turned away during ticket sales if you have an outstanding obligation so get them cleared today before tickets are sold. Get your ticket early and don’t miss out on this fun-filled night.

Also, if you are interested in running for homecoming court, forms are now available in the cafeteria on the Guidance counselors’s desk in the left corner. Forms must be completed and returned to Mrs. Housand or Mrs. Brown by Thursday October 21 to be considered for the ballot.

2nd chance breakfast will no longer be taking cash.  You will have to have money on your account if you want to buy a water or breakfast.

Attention Summer Reading students!  We had over 89 entries for our summer reading program and we have a winner for our $100 back to school basket.  Congratulations to Abagail Henson.  She is going home with snacks, gopher gear, and a ton of school supplies.  Remember to visit us in the media center and checkout all the awesome new books and graphic novels.  Also, don’t forget to also check Mackin Via where you can find even more electronic resources available to all of you.
