Good Morning, Glen Burnie High School.

Today is Friday, January 19th.  It is an A Day.

Please stand for the Pledge.

From Ms. Brown:

The cool school plunge is next Thursday at Sandy Point State park in Annapolis.  There is still time to join our team if you would like to be a part of this cool event!  See Mrs. Brown in M226 to get your packet to sign up today until Friday.  Friday is the last day to join so we can get a final count and have permission slips turned in.

Ms. Taylor in guidance:

Morgan State University is coming to Glen Burnie High School on January 24th to do ON SITE Admissions to their school.  This is a great opportunity for you, so make sure to mark your calendar. If you are interested, you must see your counselor or Ms. Taylor to sign up. On the day of the visit, you must have already filled out the application online, have your SAT or ACT scores, and a copy of your transcript.  Don’t wait, start the process, plan your future now.

From Ms. Blessing:

Hey Gopher Nation

On February 16th during 4th period we have a student vs. faculty volleyball game planned.  To attend students must earn perfect attendance from January 16th through February 15th.  This means no absences, no tardies, no early dismissals.  Another way to gain entry would be to earn a positive behavior referral for the 2nd MP. All Students in attendance MUST have NO REFERRALS.

Those students interested in playing should see Ms. Blessing.  However, you may not already be on the GBHS varsity or JV volleyball teams.  You also must have excellent attendance and no referrals and no D’s or E’s on your 2nd marking period report card.  See Ms. Blessing for more information!

From Ms. Carr:
