Your Rolling Gophers Bocce team gave another valiant effort coming up just short against North County Friday. In Match 1 the Gophers were tied 6-6, but NCHS rolled a 2 on their last roll put them ahead for good 8-6. During Match 2 the Gophers were tied at 5 but the Knights rolled a 3 and even thought the Gophers scored again, they lost 8-6. Athletes Shiphi (SHA – PHI) Williams and Mikey O’Brien scored several points each while partners Mukund Parsi, Grace Hall, Breanna Titchener and Noah Hileman all added points in our losing effort. Your Rolling Gophers are home next Friday April 13th ~ come cheer them on!
