Glen Burnie High School brings literary works to life with 95-foot mural

Not unlike the literary works depicted, the hall of Glen Burnie High School’s English department has been brought to life by a 95-foot mural painted by students and teacher and art department chairman Ryan MacCredie.

The murals were unveiled at an April 10 celebration.

Kiara Herrera, LaRee Cunningham, Melissa Buschmann, Dalton Russell, Victory Ho, Nick Mazzeo, Tingwei Yu and Harry Affeldt worked daily for nearly four months with MacCredie to complete their masterpiece. It was designed by MacCredie and Affeldt. Affeldt painted half the mural.
